The Inexplicable Death of Garrett Phillips

On a cold and dreary October Day in Potsdam, NY ( a teeny town near the border of Canada) Marissa Vogel and her boyfriend had just settled down to eat dinner and watch their favorite show: Dexter. After about 20 minutes, they heard running in the apartment next door followed by a crash and a loud thud. Then they heard someone say "Ow" or maybe it was "No." But then they distinctly heard a child's voice call for help. Marissa knew children lived next door so she went to investigate. She knocked on the door. Nothing. She knocked again. Nothing. Then as she turned to walk away, she heard the lock on the door "click"... Chills ran down her spine. Someone was inside that apartment, someone just on the other side of that door... and that someone wanted Marissa to STAY OUT.
